Why am I?

Why do we struggle with the subject of purpose? I know I have struggled with this as so many others do. When I look around, I see singers singing; teachers teaching; runners running; doctors treating; preachers preaching; leaders leading; sweepers sweeping; cooks cooking... the world is full of doers doing - exactly what they were meant to do. And just because they miss a beat, lose a patient, burn a dish, miss a few crumbs, or somehow fall short of the goal, they do not stop sweeping, singing, cooking, teaching, preaching, doing what they do! If you are not writing, then why do you say that you are a writer? Writers write! Do what you do until you can't do it anymore - in season and out of season - you never go out of style when your doing is for the glory of God.
